Our Guardian Home Program lets a loving local family raise one of our future moms as their own pet, while we handle the health testing, the vet visits, and the handful of scheduled breedings that keep our program going.

We place a puppy with your family at no cost. You raise them exactly like you would any other pet: same food, same walks, same spot on the couch. We stay involved for health testing, vaccinations, and the vet care tied to breeding, and we schedule those visits around your family’s life, not the other way around.

Most of our Guardian dogs go through two to three planned breedings before they retire from the program. Once that’s done, we cover the spay, and full ownership transfers to your family for good, free of charge. From that day forward, the dog is 100% yours.

We’re looking for families who can give a dog a real home: a securely fenced yard or a firm commitment to leashed exercise, no other unaltered dogs of the opposite sex living in the home, and a willingness to bring your Guardian dog in for scheduled vet visits and breedings. Every detail of the arrangement, including retirement and ownership transfer, is spelled out in our Guardian Home Program Agreement, which we walk through together once your family is approved.
